Spacefill has raised €7m in a funding round led by Idinvest Partners, with participation from business angels and its historical investors, La Famiglia and La Financière de Saint James. The French start-up, which was created in the spring of 2018, is aiming to digitize and make more flexible the warehouse storage sector.
The company currently collaborates with more than 3,000 logistics partners (of which nearly 80% remained open during the lockdown) and claims to have an average of one warehouse every 20 kilometers in France. During the lockdown, several companies turned to Spacefill and continue to use its services.
With this funding, Spacefill aims to continue its development in France and launch on the European market. The company plans to achieve this goal within two years.
Spacefill's solution simplifies the process of finding and booking storage space for businesses. By digitizing the warehouse storage sector, the company aims to make it easier for businesses to find space and for logistics providers to offer their services. The solution has already proven its value, with several companies relying on Spacefill's services during the lockdown.
