Edflex, a digital learning platform for companies and their employees, has raised €5 million in a funding round led by MAIF Avenir, We Positive Invest (part of Groupe Crédit Mutuel Arkea), Bpifrance, and Nicolas Fritz, who invested personally. 2CFinance conducted the financial due diligence for the round.
Founded in 2016 by Clément Meslin, Rémi Lesaint, Philippe Riveron, and Raphaël Droissart, Edflex offers a solution that aggregates the best digital training content from tens of thousands of sources around a hundred different topics. Their SaaS (Software as a Service) solution is already used by 500,000 employees at Air France-KLM, Total, Allianz, and SNCF.
With this fundraising, Edflex plans to double its workforce by summer 2022 with new developers and salespeople and to reach 100,000 resources listed. They will also develop new features to facilitate the integration of their technology with existing tools such as Teams, Slack, and SIRH.
Edflex's funding round was led by MAIF Avenir, a subsidiary of MAIF, a French insurance company that invests in startups with a positive impact on society. We Positive Invest, an impact investment firm, also participated in the round. Bpifrance, a public investment bank, also invested in Edflex as part of their growth equity program that supports French startups with high growth potential.
Nicolas Fritz, a private investor and business angel, also invested in Edflex personally. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and has co-founded several successful startups.
