The startup, which develops a SaaS software for green business travel management, raises €4 million from Galion.exe and business angels.
Founded in 2017 by Saad Berrada, Samir Idris and Bertrand Guiheneuf, Fairjungle is a next-generation BtoB travel platform that allows companies to control costs and the associated ecological footprint.
In companies where employees travel frequently, business travel is a significant part of the carbon footprint, accounted for in their Scope 3, which is mandatory since January.
Its platform allows employees to book their travel, accommodation and car rental using an integrated booking engine. Built-in AI algorithms compare different options in terms of price and carbon footprint.
More than 450 airlines, a million hotels, a dozen European train companies and car rental companies are integrated into the platform. Customers can also directly set their budget and environmental policies.
This feature allows its customers to benefit from a complete inventory, to get the best fares and travel experience, while optimizing the overall carbon footprint of their travel.
The French startup now has 300 customers such as Winamax, OVH and Vinci Aéroport as well as 20,000 active users in 28 countries.
Fairjugnle was elected "Startup of the Year" at the tourism trade show and selected in the Top 30 of Station F, a reference in terms of startup incubators. It is also the only company specialized in business travel to have obtained the Bpifrance Coq Vert label for its innovative FairCarbo solution.
This round of financing will enable Fairjungle to accelerate the marketing of its platform in Europe.
