GutyCare, a Rennes-based start-up specializing in monitoring inflammatory bowel disease, has just been acquired by Resilience, a major player in e-health for oncology. This transaction will enable both companies to reinforce their mission of supporting patients suffering from chronic diseases.
2CFinance's Transaction Services team, including Jacques Haccoun, Julien Solyjan and Louis Markey, carried out the financial due diligence for this transaction.
A promising start-up
Founded in 2019 by Axel Pilicer and Charlie Biger, GutyCare quickly made a name for itself in the Rennes healthcare ecosystem. Its innovative solution, a patient app and medical monitoring interface, is used in 15 establishments in partnership with institutions such as EHESP and NUMECAN.
Thanks to its personalized telemonitoring platform, GutyCare enables patients to enter their symptoms and state of health on a daily basis via the app. This data is transmitted to doctors in real time, giving them an accurate picture of how each case is progressing.
This tool helps to improve early diagnosis of inflammatory outbreaks and optimize individual patient management. A real asset for improving quality of life by limiting symptomatic episodes.
A growth-enhancing acquisition
Co-founded in 2021 by Céline Lazorthes and Jonathan Benhamou , Resilience provides daily support to individuals affected by cancer. Our remote monitoring platform enables healthcare professionals to better understand and track their patients, aligning with the mission of Gutycare: optimizing patient care.
By joining Resilience, GutyCare now benefits from the expertise and resources of the French leader in oncology e-health. The aim is to accelerate deployment of the solution in 45 establishments by 2024, both in France and abroad.
For its part, Resilience is diversifying its offering to better meet the needs of patients with chronic illnesses beyond cancer. A promising development opportunity
Shared ambitions to improve patient care
With this operation, GutyCare and Resilience are joining forces to humanize and personalize the monitoring of long-term illnesses. Their mission? To bring comfort and fluidity to care paths, thanks to new technologies.
